Well, hello. And thank you so much for continuing to be on my list as I make this transition to Substack. I’ve had a mailing list going for several years now, and it’s always been a great way to get my thoughts down, share what I’ve been working on, and pretty much just ramble about the nonsense in my head. Even if there was no one on the list, I would probably still write these emails as they are cathartic in a way. A means to escape the solitude life as a writer and connect with the world at large.
That said, I don’t want this to be a one-way street. I hope to use this transition as a means to adjust these emails and figure out what’s working and what’s not working. What parts you like or don’t like. What should change or stay the same. Whether I should keep the section talking about what I’ve been reading/writing/watching or scrap it? Or generally speaking, what kinds of things you would like to hear about from me? Feel free to reply at any time and make suggestions.
Writing and storytelling is a passion of mine. So I would still do it even if it meant screaming into a void. But still, it’s nice to know there are people out there to receive it. So thank you for continuing to come on this journey with me.
Thanks for reading,
Frank the Writer

I agree with Glen, and honestly many times it draws my attention to things that I had not heard of before. One suggestion I would make with that, though, is if / where possible it would be nice if you provided a link for us to find the game / book / comic.
I enjoy the section of what you are reading, playing and watching. It is good to get a creator's perspective/review on those topics.
